Prepare for race day success with our school carnival swim squad

For many children, the school swimming carnival is their first taste of competition.

Our carnival squad helps swimmers feel confident, prepared, and excited for race day. Whether they're stepping onto the blocks for the first time or striving for a new personal best, each session will help build essential skills they need to succeed in the pool. Swimmers can expect to: 

  • Build confidence for race day
  • Improve stroke technique and speed
  • Learn race rules and etiquette
  • Practice starts, turns, and finishes
  • Experience relay teamwork

Program details

Who is it for: Level 5 swimmers and above

When: School Term 1 and Term 4

Where: Perth HPC, Mount Claremont

Available sessions: 7:15am, Mon, Tue & Thu mornings (45 min sessions)

Term 1 squad classes have commenced, but it's not too late to enrol with limited spaces still available.
