Alongside the Indoor 10 lane and Indoor Diving pool is a seating grandstand. This viewing area, traversable by either ascending or descending stairs depending on entry level, can be accessed by entering through gate doors on the upper level, which opens up to the peak of the grandstand where seating can be reached without utilising stairs.

Changing Facilities/Toilets

On the pool deck, which is located adjacent to the indoor pools, are a number of different bathroom and changing room facilities, including single/family occupant bathrooms and multi-person changing rooms which host several toilets, sinks and changing facilities. The amenities found on this level are as follows:

  • 2 (two) male change rooms
  • 2 (two) female change rooms
  • 2 (two) unisex accessible change rooms (no automatic door)
  • 1 (one) unisex accessible bathroom (equipped with automatic door)

There are other bathrooms to be found throughout the venue, however these seven are the rooms located next to the pool.

Accessible Access Door

The usual route patrons must take to enter the pool deck is through the scanner gates at reception and down stairs to reach the pool level. However patrons with mobility issues and/or a pram can use a separate access door to enter the pool area. This door is down the carpeted ramp situated opposite the Reformer Pilates studio, then following the appropriate signage.

Gym Accessibility

The gym can firstly be accessed by taking the lift down from the first floor level, then via a long, gradual ramp leading from the ground floor. The layout is designed to be easily traversed by any patrons with walking aides or wheelchairs, and each machine can be easily accessed. Almost all machines have height and/or position adjustable seats to allow for easy of use, and the multiple cable machines can be re-configured to accommodate wheelchair users. For any members who require assistance during their workout, a companion or medical professional can accompany you in the gym for free. This can be done by showing a Companion Card if necessary at gym reception and lodging their details to create a profile for them
