Perth High Performance Centre (Perth HPC) 

From 1 January 2025, HBF Stadium officially rebranded as Perth High Performance Centre (Perth HPC), marking an exciting new chapter in our journey.

This new era further reflects our commitment to supporting WA athletes, high performance sport and world class events. Rest assured, Perth HPC remains owned and operated by VenuesWest, and all the services you love - Swim School, Gym, and Kids Gymnastics - will continue as usual.

During the coming months, you may still see references to HBF Stadium, particularly regarding events, but your experience will remain unchanged. 

Where Passion Meets Performance

Since 1986, our venue has been at the forefront of high performance sport and world class events, providing training and competition facilities as well as intimate event spaces for our passionate patrons to enjoy. Whether you're starting your day with Aqua Aerobics, training for a marathon, learning to swim, or preparing for a competition - we're with you every step of the way. 

What Makes Perth HPC High Performance?

Aquatics Facilities

Our aquatics facilities include three 50m pools, a dive pool and a water polo pool - all fully compliant with World Aquatics standards.  Over the years, we've proudly hosted major events such as the 2022 Diving National Championships, 2022 Artistic Swimming National Championships, 2019 Water Polo Intercontinental Cup and the 1998 World Aquatics Championships.

 In 2023, we introduced the Bruce Prance Dryland Diving Centre, a state-of-the-art indoor facility where divers refine their skills out of the water. 

Our current legends include the Olympic Hancock Prospecting Artistic Swimming Australia Team, as well as Olympians such as Zoe Arancini, Iona Anderson, Josh Yong and Paralympian Ben Popham. Past athletes like Tom Hoad AM, Nikita Hains, Maddison Keeney, Brianna Throssell, Blair Evans and Tamsin Cook have also called Perth HPC home. 

Dryland Facilities

Our FIBA Level 1 certified courts, equipped with enhanced LED lighting, are ideal for basketball, netball, volleyball and combat sports. These courts have hosted Western Australian teams such as the Perth Lynx, Perth Wildcats, WA All Abilities Football Association and West Coast Fever for training and competition.

In addition, our dedicated Gymnastics Training Centre is home to the Kids Gymnastics program and the Perth Gymnastics Academy, where athletes develop their skills and compete at national and international levels. 

Complementing these world class facilities is our modern gym, designed to cater to all fitness levels. Equipped with the latest in cardio and strength equipment, the gym offers a supportive, friendly training environment for strength, conditioning and overall fitness, suitable for casual users to elite athletes alike.

Located near the Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS) and the WA Athletics Stadium, Perth HPC offers a unique environment to train alongside WA's top athletes and gain exposure to a competition rich atmosphere.
