Perth HPC meets the competition and training needs of swimming and aquatic sports at all levels. 

Each year, we welcome hundreds of thousands of guests from Western Australia, across the nation and around the world to our state-of-the-art facilities for recreation, training and competition.

Our venue features both indoor and outdoor 50 metre swimming pools, elite timing systems and purpose-built diving and water polo pools, ensuring we cater to all your aquatic needs.

For school swimming events, we offer comprehensive facilities and the support of our dedicated staff to make your event exceptional. Hire fees include electronic timing, scoreboard access. Additional features such as touch pads and catering are available upon request.

Getting Here

Located just 8 kilometers west of the Perth CBD, Perth HPC is easily accessible by public transport and offers ample on-site parking. The venue features 1,100 parking spaces, including bays for disabled access.

Give your students the best chance to succeed with our Carnival Swim Squad sessions!

Designed to complement your school’s swimming carnival, these sessions help students feel confident, prepared, and excited for race day—whether they’re first-time competitors or aiming to beat their personal best.

Our experienced coaches focus on:

  • Race-day skills and strategies
  • Confidence-building in a fun, supportive environment
  • Technique and pacing for all ability levels

 

We encourage schools to share this opportunity with families - it’s a great way for students to feel ready and supported ahead of their big day in the pool.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • There are numerous spaces suited to a wide variety of functions, events and meetings. View Functions Rooms for more details.

  • Our in-house catering team prepare diverse and delicious seasonal menu items. Sample menus can be viewed on our catering options page.

  • All dietary needs can be considered, please contact your bookings officer for more information.

  • VenuesWest has the exclusive right to provide or procure the provision of food and beverages for the whole of the venue.

    For Swimming Carnivals, we allow people to bring their own lunches for Aquatics only, but do not permit outsourced catering/clients to do catering without permission from Venues West.

    For other events, you are not permitted to bring in or consume at the venue, any food or beverages not provided or procured by VenuesWest.

  • Select your desired function date on the enquiry form. Your dedicated bookings officer will work with you in securing and confirming availability for your desired date. 

  • The main arena accommodates graduation ceremonies, speech nights and musical concerts. With free parking and easy access for busses, the dedicated control precinct means students can feel safe in a controlled environment.
