Works to reduce HBF Stadium’s environmental impact will soon be commencing in car park 4, with the installation of car park shade structures made up of 468 solar panels and four Electric Vehicle (EV) charging bays.
The project will deliver environmental benefits including a reduction in energy consumption for the facility as well as providing shade and protection for vehicles from the elements.
The western half of car park 4 will be closed for construction works from Wednesday 26 April, with works expected to conclude in June.
Parking will remain available in the eastern half of car park 4, as well as nearby in car park 3. Additional temporary ACROD parking bays will be made available in the eastern half of car park 3 while the works take place.
Directional signage will be in place to guide pedestrian and vehicle traffic around the exclusion zone, indicated by the green line in the image below.

We thank you for your patience as we complete these works to improve our facilities at HBF Stadium.
